Questions
The things people ask before ordering.
Can I mix sizes?
Yes, and it doesn’t cost extra. Sizes S through XL combine freely inside the 24.
Beyond that there are exactly two adders, applied per piece:
| 2XL | +$2.50 each |
| 3XL – 6XL | +$4.50 each |
| Tall (LT–4XLT) | +$2.50 each, on top of the size adder above |
So a 2XL Tall is +$5.00 and a 3XL Tall is +$7.00. Kits run to 5XL and 4XL Tall. 6XL is available but needs a different blank, so it is a
quick email rather than a checkbox. The size calculator on each kit page adds the
right amount to your cart automatically as you enter your counts.
What if I need more than 24?
Order multiples of a kit, or tell us the real number and we’ll price it off the volume
table — the per-piece price drops meaningfully at 48, again at 72, and again at 144. Above
roughly 100 pieces you’re better served by a quote than by a kit.
What artwork do you need?
Print-ready vector art — .ai, .eps, or a .pdf with outlined fonts — is free to use. A
large, clean PNG is usually fine for a one-color print. If your file needs to be redrawn or
color-separated, that’s $85 an hour with a $25 minimum, and we always quote it before
starting. We never begin billable art work without telling you first.
Can I put more than one color in my logo?
Yes. Each kit price covers a one-color print, which is what most staff logos are. Every
additional ink color adds a screen ($25 per color, per location) plus a small per-piece
charge. Add your art to the kit and we’ll confirm the exact number on your proof before you
commit.
Why does printing on black cost more?
Ink is translucent. To get a bright logo on a dark shirt we lay down a white underbase
first, flash-cure it, then print your color on top. That’s an extra screen at each location
plus extra time on press — $0.60 per piece per location, and one more screen. It’s built
into the Security Crew Kit price already.
How fast can I get them?
7–10 business days from the moment you approve your proof — not from when you order.
Weekends and holidays don’t count. If you need them faster, rush is +30% for 3–4 business
days or +40% for 2–3, subject to our press schedule, and it applies only to the printing and
setup, never to the garments or freight.
What happens if a shirt comes out wrong?
Standard industry spoilage applies: we allow 2% on light garments and 4% on darks and
underbased prints, capped at two pieces per size run. Anything beyond that allowance we
credit or replace. On a 24-piece order that’s why we suggest ordering a spare or two if
every single shirt has to land on a body.
Do you need me to own the logo?
Yes. By uploading art you’re confirming you own it or have permission to print it, and
you agree to cover us if that turns out not to be true. We decline jobs we believe infringe
someone else’s trademark or copyright — it protects both of us.
